Tarot – a Journey

Today there are so many Tarot decks it is easy to understand why we spend so much time trying to work out which deck is right for us.

Just as so many of us vary in our communication methods so too are some Tarot decks easy for us to read while others leave us confused and disappointed in our own ability to perform any psychic work at all! Before you start thinking you do not have a psychic bone in your body come take a few minutes to consider why this might be the case. I don’t have all the answers. I do have a few.

Tarot works on many layers of information, much like your Astrology wheel.
Sometimes this can make any Reading confusing. Sometimes too much information can lead to errors in focus. You might think that you are getting through information about your future when in fact it is your past or present that is in focus. Or maybe it looks like a work issue when really it is a home issue that has something to do with someone you work with! Have you ever had a Reading one month only to find that the following month something happened – nearly like that – but it was twisted?

However, Tarot is amazing. You can perform pathworking using Kabbala and Tarot together. You can practise clarvoyancy – some decks lend themselves to this. The older Aquarian deck is one and the Rider Waite is another. There are many more.

Although all psychic work is steeped in symbol, some symbols are better understood, than clarvoyantly viewed.

When you read a poem that completely moves you to view a world you don’t usually inhabit what do you experience? Has a poem, or even a song, ever caused you to smell the ocean for example? Or lay down in grass even while you are sitting at a desk? Some Tarot cards will do the same. Especially if they are more Oracle cards than Tarot. Lucy Cavendish’s deck is a perfect example of this experience. Through her deck you meet so many characters who tell you wonderful stories to aid your journey you may be drawn to revisit often.

Some decks, no matter how beautiful, may elicit only a moment of interest from you.

If you want to study Tarot with Kabbala then seek out the Crowley or Magikal Deck, which is based on Crowley’s work.
To practice clairvoyant Reading start with the good old Rider Waite until you have practised with some success. Some dark packs can be unnerving for beginners.

Everyone who dabbles in Tarot needs to work on their CONFIDENCE, so you can CENTRE YOURSELF in your Universe.

We hold workshops in Metaphysical work with Tarot. Before we work with you in this area we require you to take our “Chakra Spinach Body & Soul” workshop, where you learn to work within your own biology first, so you are able to navigate the metaphysical, which, although as normal as your biology, and not separate, appears separate for cultural survival.
